The Bullet Proof Diesel 6502213 Fan Clutch Adapter lets a 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke run the rugged mechanical fan clutch from the 7.3L Powerstroke in place of the factory electronic, computer-controlled clutch. Removing the electronic control gives a more direct, predictable fan engagement.

Features

  • Converts the 6.0L to a mechanical 7.3L-style fan clutch
  • Engages at lower temperatures, as low as about 200°F, for cooler engine temps and better A/C performance under load
  • Simplifies the cooling fan control system

Fitment: 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke.

Note: The 7.3L mechanical fan clutch is sold separately. Expect more fan noise and a slight drop in fuel economy because the fan engages more often. This conversion favors cooling performance over comfort.
