The PSC SG856 Big Bore XD Steering Box is a high-quality steering box that delivers superior handling and reliability in your 2009-2021 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4WD. This all-new steering box is a PSC proprietary design that is based on the 2010 and newer PSC XD platform for Dodge trucks. The SG856 all but eliminates side-to-side movement of the sector shaft by using a substantially larger lower sector shaft support bearing and increasing the diameter of the sector shaft to 45mm. The upgraded sector shaft bearing provides smooth steering operation and will extend the service life of the gearbox. Improved load-pushing capability is accomplished by an 80mm internal piston assembly and a 16:1 steering ratio delivers exceptional handling and effortless maneuvering. The larger piston diameter delivers greater torque output to handle larger tire sizes and locking differentials with ease. Utilizing the stock high- & low-pressure hose assemblies and pitman arm, this steering box is modified to be a direct-fit replacement.
