The PSC SG856R Big Bore XD Cylinder Assist Steering Box is a high-quality steering box that delivers superior handling and reliability in your 2009-2021 Dodge Ram 2500/3500. This all-new steering box is a PSC proprietary design based on the 2010 and newer PSC XD platform for Dodge trucks. Utilizing the stock high- & low-pressure hose assemblies and pitman arm, this steering box is modified to be a direct-fit replacement.
The PSC SG856R Big Bore XD Cylinder Assist Steering Gearbox has an upgraded 45mm sector shaft bearing that reduces sector shaft deflection. The upgraded sector shaft bearing provides smooth steering operation and will extend the service life of the gearbox. A 16:1 steering ratio lessens the number of turns from lock to lock for improved maneuverability and greater stability when driving on the highway. A larger piston diameter delivers greater torque output to handle larger tire sizes and locking differentials with ease.
