The PSC SK752R73FDP-OE-1.5 Cylinder Assist Steering Kit is a perfect solution for worn-out steering components in your 1999-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke F-250/350 & Excursion. The complete steering kit is also ideal for trucks running larger than stock tires as this will give you increase power for greater loads. This kit includes top of the line components such as brand new & re-designed SG752R Steering Gear as well as a high-performance Saginaw P-Pump Conversion. Also includes is a remote fluid reservoir for greater system volume capacity, fluid cooler, SR-VT Anti-Splash Valve with all required hoses, hardware, and brackets. Finally the PSC Cylinder Assist Kit is included that comes with 1.75 X 8.0 Assist Cylinder, Hose Kit, and a 1-1/2" Tie Rod Clamp.
The PSC SG752R Steering Gear Box included with this kit features a larger diameter sector shaft that is still compatible with Factory and aftermarket Pitman arms. This gear box has bigger internal bearings that provide greater support by decreasing sector shaft side-to-side deflection and offering smoother steering feel. The PSC Cylinder Assist enhances turning capability and decreases stress on the steering gear box making it easier to move under increased steering loads. The remote fluid reservoir, SR-VT Anti-Splash Valve, hoses, fluid cooler, brackets, and hardware have all been designed as bolt-on components for straightforward installation.
