The XDP X220 Series XD3001HS head stud kit replaces the factory torque-to-yield head bolts on the 6.0L Powerstroke with reusable 8740 chromoly studs. With only four main fasteners per cylinder, the 6.0L is known for head gasket problems, and studs provide stronger, more consistent clamping force than stretch bolts.

  • 8740 chromoly steel with threads rolled after heat treating
  • Roughly 225,000+ psi tensile and 205,000+ psi yield strength
  • Includes washers and 12-point nuts, plus installation instructions
  • Reusable, unlike factory torque-to-yield bolts

Fitment: 2003-2007 Ford F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 Super Duty and 2003-2005 Excursion with the 6.0L Powerstroke; also listed for 2004-2010 E-Series vans.

Note: The inner-row head bolts are not included. XDP XD3020HB or ARP 250-4206 completes the set. Thread chasers (XD40126TC for studs, XD40128TC for inner-row bolts) and assembly lubricant are sold separately.
