Upgrade your diesel when you replace the underperforming factory flex plate with the XDP Tow Series Flex Plate XD645. If your truck is used for constant heavy-duty towing, it's only a matter of time before your factory flex plate fails.
Modifications and continuous heavy hauling add further strain to the flex plate which can result in heat spots from the torque converter. These heat cycles can cause these heat spots to crack and even cause the center of the flexplate to tear apart.
The Tow Series Flex Plate is engineered to withstand the abuse of heavy towing and not break the bank. Not only is this flex plate ideal for towing, but the additional strength makes it well-suited for competition, off-road, and other severe-duty conditions.
This flexplate is manufactured from cold rolled steel and features a black e-coat finish that helps prevent corrosion. Being SFI 29.1 approved, it will be able to last for many years of competition and heavy-duty use.
Features:
- SFI 29.1 Certified
- Manufactured From Cold Rolled Steel
- Robotically Cold-Welded Ring Gear
- Black E-Coat Finish Helps Prevent Rust
- 4mm Thick Centerplate Provides Rigidity
- Ideal For Heavy-Duty Towing, Competition, & Severe-Duty Requirements
Application Notes:
- 152 Teeth
- Internal Balance
- 46.10mm Center Bore Hole
- Some trucks may be equipped with one or two shims or spacers on either side of the OEM flex plate.
- These shims or spacers will not be needed for installation of the XDP flex plate as it is thicker than the OEM flex plate.
- Removal of any shims or spacers is necessary to ensure good thread engagement of the flex plate bolts to the crankshaft.
